Infuse 3 has arrived...with DTS!

Infuse 3

We've been pretty busy over the past few months working on Infuse 3, and we're super-excited that we are able to share it with you today.

Simply put, Infuse 3 is a massive update. It's been fully optimized for iOS 8, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and adds a bunch of amazing new things including DTS-HD® audio, mophie space pack access, AirStash® streaming, an all-new dark mode, and a host of other niceties that make the whole Infuse experience just that much better.

DTS and DTS-HD audio (finally!)

After working closely with DTS over the past 2 years, we're extremely proud to announce that Infuse is the first and only iOS app in its class to include fully certified DTS® and DTS-HD® audio. Today, every major film studio in the United States uses DTS multi-channel digital sound, and virtually all major Hollywood feature films are released with soundtracks in the DTS format. Infuse + DTS = the richest mobile cinema experience - period.

Critical update: Infuse & TMDb

Recently TMDb (the service we use for movie info and artwork) made a few changes to their API. These changes are relatively minor, and will not affect how Infuse works, but they did require us to make a few small adjustments in the way Infuse accesses their service.

These changes are included in new updates, for iOS and Apple TV, and will allow things to continue working as they always have.

I encourage you to install these updates ASAP, as some features in the older versions will soon stop working.

Thanks for your continued support!

New goodies in Infuse 2.2.2

Over the past few weeks we've received a ton of awesome feedback from our amazing users, and today we're happy to announce much of that has turned into some great new features which are part of Infuse 2.2.2. Here's the scoop on what's new.

Import subtitles from other apps

Now in addition to syncing your own subtitles, or streaming them from another device you can import them into Infuse from emails, Dropbox, Skydrive, and pretty much any other file sharing app. It doesn't stop there. Infuse will let you select which subtitle goes with which video...so there are no special file naming requirements to worry about.

Double tap to play/pause, swipe up/down on the right side of the screen to control volume and swipe up/down on the left side to control brightness. And as before, you can swipe left/right anywhere on the screen to skip backwards or forwards 30 seconds.
