Is FireCore, LLC affiliated with or owned by Apple, Inc?
Unfortunately not, but we're huge Apple fans and love providing products and services that complement their line of products.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

How soon will I get my software?
All software products are downloadable. Download links will be immediately available after submitting an order.

I have questions, how can I get support?
Visit our Support page to search knowledge base articles, post questions in the forum or submit a support ticket.

I'm using an older version, where can I download the latest version?
Download links for the most current versions can be found in the My Account section of our site, under the 'Downloads' tab.

I have more than one Apple TV, do I need to buy more than one copy?
A single copy can be used on multiple devices provided they are all owned by the same individual and not used for any commercial purposes.

Is there a trial version?
We don't have a trial version, but we do offer a 15-day 'test drive' period. If for any reason you're not satisfied just let us know within 15 days and we'll happily give you a full refund. 

aTV Flash - 1st gen Apple TV

Will aTV Flash void my warranty?
No, the aTV Flash software can be easily removed at anytime through the factory restore function. 

Do I need any special skills or knowledge to install aTV Flash?
No. Unlike the alternatives, aTV Flash is the only solution with a complete "point and click" interface. This provides a simple, streamlined installation that anyone can utilize. Even those with little or no technical knowledge can take advantage of the great features of aTV Flash.

Where can I find step-by-step instructions for installing and using aTV Flash?

I have a PC, can I use aTV Flash?
Yes, aTV Flash is compatible with both Mac and PC.

Can I play video from sites like Hulu?
Unfortunately due to the Apple TV's limited processing power streaming Internet video is not currently supported.

Can I use my iPhone/iPod Touch to control the Apple TV with aTV Flash?
Yes, all features can be controlled from an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad using the Remote or Remote HD iOS apps.

Can I use a VPN to access sites or videos from outside the US?
Any OpenVPN provider can be used on the 1st gen Apple TV.

aTV Flash (black) - 2nd gen Apple TV

How hard is it to install aTV Flash (black)?
Installing aTV Flash (black) is easy. More details on the installation process can be seen here.

I jailbroke my Apple TV with Seas0nPass do I need aTV Flash (black)?
Seas0nPass is a jailbreak tool. Using it allows 3rd party software like, aTV Flash (black), to be installed. To better visualize the difference picture aTV Flash (black) as a car, and Seas0nPass as the road the car drives on.

Can I play 720p and 1080p videos?
Yes, videos up to 1080p can be played, however the Apple TV is limited to 720p output.

What about metadata and covert art? Will I need to add those manually?
Metadata and cover art will be downloaded automatically from TheMovieDB and TheTVDB. 

Can I stream web video?
Yes! Currently HTML5 based streaming video is supported.

What about the new 3rd gen Apple TV released in March 2012, will this work?
Not yet, but we're working hard on a compatible update and plan to have it available soon. Once released, this update will be available as a free download for all existing aTV Flash (black) users.

MiRow - Front Row (OSX)

Can I use the browser in MiRow to view videos from Hulu, Netflix and others?
Yes, MiRow has full support for streaming Flash, Quicktime, Silverlight and most other Internet videos.

Do I need a mouse and keyboard to browse the web in MiRow?
You can have full access to the web by using only the simple Apple remote.  Of course if you want to use something more fancy you can do that too.
