Infuse 7.3 - All Wrapped Up

As 2021 winds down, we are happy to release Infuse 7.3 with many great additions.

Spatial audio and AirPlay for Mac

Infuse for Mac gets a huge injection of functionality with the addition of Spatial audio and AirPlay 2 support. Now Mac users can join in and enjoy the best possible sound when listening through other devices like AirPods, HomePods, or Apple TV. Like iOS and Apple TV, spatial audio with dynamic head tracking brings theater-like sound that surrounds you from the movie or video you're watching, so that it seems as if the sound is coming from all around you. The sound field stays mapped to the device, and the voice stays with the actor or action on screen. Learn more about spatial audio

Libraries in the cloud

iCloud libraries allow for seamless syncing of metadata, library settings, and playback progress between all your devices. Start a video on iPhone, and easily jump back in where you left off on Apple TV. Mark a few things as watched on one device, and they will instantly sync over to others. No server software to set up and manage, just super-fast, automatic syncing between all your devices...exactly how it should be.

Infuse 3.0.1 - A Few Fixes

The response to Infuse 3 has been simply amazing, and today we've got a quick bug fix release that addresses a handful of minor issues that have come up.

The most noticeable change in this version relates to how past Pro purchases are handled. Pro features from Infuse 2 are transferred automatically when upgrading to Infuse 3, but soon after the release it was clear we didn't do a great job of indicating this within the app. 3.0.1 does this much more effectively, in an effort to avoid any further confusion.

Also included are a number of behind the scenes improvements to help keep everything running smoothly.

Subtitles over AirPlay

We've taken our AirPlay integration a step further by adding the ability to send subtitles along with video when using AirPlay. Now, with just a few taps you can add subtitles from OpenSubtitles to videos and stream them to your TV. You can even pick and choose from the available subtitles right on the Apple TV! It just works.
