Infuse 5.4 - Supercharged Subtitles

Today we're happy to release Infuse 5.4!

This update includes a mountain of changes for subtitles, some nice performance improvements for 10-bit videos, and many other really great things. The full story on what's new is below.

All-new subtitles engine

Subtitles have been entirely revamped, and we've made a ton of improvements in many areas. The result is an awesome new implementation that supports many more formats - including subtitles with fancy styling and animation effects (*pause for karaoke fans to rejoice*). Other changes include new color options, and support for subtitles in 3D videos (SBS & TAB).

Infuse 4.1 - Now Available

The first major update for Infuse 4 has arrived! We didn't cut any corners here, and worked hard to add ton of great new things that we think you are going to love, including watched icons, dark mode, HD audio, background fetching, and much, much more. Read on for full details on what's new.

Pick up where you left off

With our all-new watched indicators finding something new to watch has never been easier. Both new and in-progress videos will have a colorful orange banner overlayed on top of the poster, with a small icon to indicate the status. Watched status icons are also visible on the video details page.

Infuse 3.6 for iOS 9

Infuse 3.6 is now available! We've added in a handful of nice improvements such as subtitle font settings, UI and performance improvements as well as a number of tune-ups to ensure everything works smoothly with iOS 9.

Infuse 3.3.1 - 64-bit Support

Infuse 3.3.1 is available today, and features full 64-bit support. 64-bit chips now power a fairly large chunk of the iOS lineup, and optimized apps can see performance gains of 20-40% when compared to apps built for 32-bit only. Naturally, a few other fixes and improvements have also been added.

Infuse 3.2 with Google Cast

Google Cast

Dust off your Chromecast or Nexus Player - Google Cast streaming has arrived! With Google Cast, you can stream your favorite content from your iPhone or iPad to any TV that has a Cast device attached.

Keep in mind this is a beta feature, and while we work to perfect the Google Cast experience, we wanted to let you join in the fun. Plus, if you have time to share your feedback it will assist us greatly in making Infuse even better! Google Cast (beta) is available to Infuse Pro users.

Infuse 3.1 with Trakt Sync

We're excited to announce the release of Infuse 3.1 which includes an all-new way to sync using trakt. Pro users can now sync watched history, and playback progress across multiple devices! Start watching a movie on your iPhone while riding home on the train, and pick up your iPad later at home to finish it. Infuse will automatically keep track of exactly where you left off.

New Goodies in Infuse 2.2.2

Over the past few weeks we've received a ton of awesome feedback from our amazing users, and today we're happy to announce much of that has turned into some great new features which are part of Infuse 2.2.2. Here's the scoop on what's new.

Import subtitles from other apps

Now in addition to syncing your own subtitles, or streaming them from another device you can import them into Infuse from emails, Dropbox, Skydrive, and pretty much any other file sharing app. It doesn't stop there. Infuse will let you select which subtitle goes with which video...so there are no special file naming requirements to worry about.

Infuse 2 is being redesigned from the ground up to be sleeker, faster, and easier to use, and will include a fresh new iOS 7 inspired look. Infuse 1.4 Now Available

In early August Infuse got a healthy dose of AirPlay streaming, and since then we've been listening intently to all of you who have been using it to see how we could make it even better.

Today we're happy to release Infuse 1.4 that includes quite a few goodies that mainly revolve around improved AirPlay, performance, and efficiency.

Subtitles over AirPlay

We've taken our AirPlay integration a step further by adding the ability to send subtitles along with video when using AirPlay. Now, with just a few taps you can add subtitles from OpenSubtitles to videos and stream them to your TV. You can even pick and choose from the available subtitles right on the Apple TV! It just works.
