Playback shuttering on tvOS beta

Hi! Everything looks and works very fine after setting ATV4K + Infuse 6 Pro + LGOLED55C8. But after tvOS 13 beta update i experienced playback shuttering like very low FPS especially on very resourceful movies. Looks like performance issue. VLC works fine but picture is worser that on great Infuse. Anybody knows about this problem and how to fix it?
Just curious, your title says iOS and the body of your post says tvOS, which one are you talking about?

This appears to be a new issue in the current beta, and something we're looking into.
Infuse 6 for iOS and Apple TV is now available!
Sorry, I mean tvOS of course. I happy with Infuse, great picture quality, but now i want to throw ATV4K from a window because of lags. I hope DEV guys will find a solution
I have the same problem, but it started a while after the update. It looks like the picture slows down slightly and then accelerates in every frame.
It may help if you include the OS beta number and Infuse release numbers since problems are so fluid when working with beta software.

I just tested a film remux and then the same film encoded with handbrake
-the film remux does not pass,
-and the film with handbrake and the sound not touched works perfectly
-the video bitrate is unrelated, I just tested a remux movie with 62.2 Mb / s and no problem

Guys, i just upgraded from 17J5549c to 17J5557a and issue is still persists. Infuse 6 Pro 6.1.4 (2687). I hope it helps

vlc does not support hdr
MrMC and infuse do. It might be the way infuse utilized metal API and MrMC uses OpenGL ES for their acceleration.
I'm seeing this too, but some movie files work better than others.

@James do you use AVfoundation or is everything rendered on metal?
The Plex player seems to play HDR videos smoothly. Move to that until there is a fix for tvOS 13. (If you can't get "Original" quality to play in Plex, disable PGS subtitles.)

I want to use infuse, and no news from firecore and an update that does not solve the problem
Since iOS/tvOS 13 is still beta and Firecore has listed os 13 compatibility as part of the next release I wouldn't call that no news. Trying to get 100% compatibility with a beta is really trying to hit a moving target.
If you notice, this thread is marked pending so it's defiantly on their radar. For a thread that's less than two weeks old and is already marked as pending it's pretty good reactions for a software company dealing with a beta that they have no real control over.

I'm not sure what "news" you are expecting. A developer has commented that they are aware of the issue and actively working on it.

If it’s a beta I would say the best answer will always be “it’ll work when it’s out of beta”. Beta probablems really shouldn’t be that big of a deal as beta software shouldn’t be running on any sort of mission critical hardware.
While I disagree with the previous poster here who must have "news" RIGHT NOW, this is a very naive thing to say. Not everyone have the means or will to buy multiple hardware devices for development. So some of us update to betas, and take an educated risk.
