Bug Report:
The new version 6.0.5, on an iPad with files loaded onto the iPad (using iMazing, maintaining the file's creation/modify dates!)

The "Library" view shows both Movies and TV Shows "Recently added" and "Unwatched", but the newest ones no longer appear first (i.e. the files with the newest creation dates no longer appear on the far left of each list).

I don't know what order they're displayed in. At first it seemed that the oldest was first, but that's not true. Movies show up sometimes with newest left of a given movie, and sometimes the older dated movie is to the left.

Therefore, the Library views to find newest not watched OR newest added movies and TV is now utterly useless.

Is this something that was working for you in previous versions?

IIRC, for local files, Infuse will look at the date at which they were added to Infuse - as generally, if you add or download a file to Infuse you would expect it to appear in the recently added section.

Can you try transferring a single video at a time, and see if they appear in order of which they were transferred?

Infuse 6 for iOS and Apple TV is now available!

Yes. It was working correctly and then InFuse updated and suddenly the view changed when inFuse relaunched.
I think that this might have happened with the 6.0.4 update since that was just one day earlier.

Does inFuse maintain it's own internal metadata of every file ever loaded? If that got reloaded and NOT sorted by the file creation date, that might explain it.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just display them sorted by created date?

I'll have to try... when I get a new episode or new movie.

Right now, the "Library" view is useless.

Added a new TV ep. It appears in 7th place “Recently Added” (at least it’s likely since it’s that show’s season which appears), but does that show or ep does not appear at all in the 30 “Unwatched” or “All TV Shows” on the Library screen.

As of 6.0.6, the Library and Files views of files on the iPad are STILL not being displayed in correct date order. BUG.

Not having much luck replicating this here.

Using iTunes' File Sharing to transfer videos, Infuse is displaying them in Recently Added according to the order in which they were added (IE most recent transfers displayed first).

AFAIK, this is how Infuse has worked for quite some time.

I use iMazing to move mp4's over to inFuse on the iPad.
Looking at the files on the iPad, the creation/modified dates show "correctly", but the files shown in Library view do not follow those dates at all.

How does inFuse determine what was most recently added? It can't be those file creation/modification dates either in/and by those dates alone nor those dates compared to the last sync-by-iTunes date.

What can I do to help you replicate this????

Oh... As I said, it used to work just fine and as I'd have expected until a couple of releases ago. So SOMETHING changed.

Don't want to derail this thread but have you tried using iTunes file sharing instead of iMazing and see if it works?

NP... Just did try using iTunes to transfer one new TV Show over to my iPad. The inFuse Library View does NOT show this as the newest -- i.e. it still doesn't work right.
