Infuse is hands down the best video player there is. Emby is the most flexible metadata handler there is. I am currently switching from Plex to Emby, because for the life of me I can't understand why Plex won't let you edit cast metadata and why they treat movie and TV show libraries so differently.

So please integrate Emby as well, because the UPNP integration just doesn't look very appealing.

Emby is way more user-friendly than plex coming to multi-subtitle video and more flexible regarding the naming principal. The metadata agent that Emby uses are more simple and handy(easy to understand and configurate) than the Plex ones. Also, it natively supports .nfo metadata profiles located in the same folder of media.

@James,
Any chance to push Emby support to a higher priority?
I find this more valuable than atmos, e.g.

Thanks

I have nVidia Shields and ATV4K devices through out my home and combination of Kodi and Infuse and would love to see my Emby server be the sole source library!

+1, Emby has a very weak player and the only player that works semi well with Emby is MrMc, this would be a killer combination. For now, am just using SMB and keeping the files out of emby. I am just using Emby for DVR and no archived movie library. I could put them back into Emby with this integration. Emby is far superior to Plex otherwise.

Would buy limetime within a heartbeat, as I love embybut dislike the emby-ATV4K-app. MrMc works fine, but has it's flaws. Bring on native emby support, FireCore!

I would definitely love Emby support. It handles metadata and subtitles so much better than Plex! I have lifetime access with both and play around with Plex from time to time, but so far it has given me zero reason to move to Plex. Well, being the only reason is Infuse of course! Smile

Excellent! Can't wait. Switching from SMB to my Emby server will solve a couple of the little annoyances.

Hi James,

I signed up! Gotta take advantage of this "stay at home" directive! Smile
