Thats my issue.  I am getting the 1600 error and its not jailbroken.  No matter how many times I reset it and do the tethered jailbreak, it wont boot.  I am using SeasOnPass 4.4.4 but jailbreaking 4.4.2.

Doesnt matter, When you restore the device with total commander patched custom cooked restore, at the end you will get a 16XX error. plug out from usb and run with your TV with the power . setup your wifi to activate the ATV2. You should be good to go . It should be Unthreaded jailbroken and after that you can shsh to install nitotv and xbmc. Good luck.!!

What do you mean by setup your wifi to activate the ATV2?  Shouldnt the ATV2 boot like it normally would?  This might be my issue!

Last night I used the same technique to downgrade from 5.1 iOS to 4.4.2 iOS, successfully.  Then I got to thinking and wanted to see if 4.4.4 iOS based off theory.  I prepared myself to birck my aTV and then set in the same way as 4.4.2.  About 15 min later (including firmware downloads) I was able to install 4.4.4 using blobs from one of my other aTVs and was able to ssh in and install aTV Black, XBMC, and nitoTV.  The only thing is you have to boot tethered by selecting 4.4.2 ispw on seas0nPass.  Ill submit pictures of it.  Again it was all the same technique just using 4.4.4 blobs and 4.4.4 ispw, it was the only difference.

I am not got lucked like you, After step #6, I used the itune to open the Jailbroken Signed Firmware File "00000XXXXXXXXXX_iFaith_Apple_TV_2-4.4.4 (9A406a)_signed.ipsw" saved in desktop and flash into ATV2. Next step, I open seasopass and click to Boot Tethered and finished. I connected HDMI in and checked for version 4.4.4 in there, it still on 4.4.2 IOS 5.0. I need your help. Thanks
