If you're upgrading from a Beta or RC1 version you will need to run the 1.0 installer from a Mac or PC.

Once 1.0 is installed, all future updates can be installed through the Maintenance menu on the AppleTV.

Am i missing something or is aTV Flash really incapable of reading .DMG-files? I hope i am the one making some mistake as about 3/4 of my 600 + movie collection is in .DMG format :(

Submitted by larsm.4788 on November 29, 2011 - 3:40pm

Correction, i meant .IMG, not .DMG.. It still says 'No playable content' when i navigate to my movies that aren't in .ISO-format.

Bought a new micro USB cable from micro center. The jailbreak went smooth on 4.4.3.
I really think most of the problems out there are related to bad micro cables

Good luck with THAT! "Support" seems to be more like "Ignore":(...

So SLOW fetching... Unusable if you have more than one movie!

Submitted by rydstrom.mats on December 11, 2011 - 12:27am

Exactly the same here! I have a Synology NAS and about 600 movies, the most of them Video_TS.
The Media Player start to build the covers again when I select the it... Why? I tried to save it, but always the same!

After checking my own setup, I found that a wiresless HDMI extender was the issue. After I have stopped using that device, the aTV2 does not have problems waking from sleep.

Sorry I didn't check my own setup first

I am having problems installing the aTVFlash Black. I purchased the product
through MacUpdate but now I am getting an error message when I try and
install...

"Whoops, the ATV/black install cannot proceed
this is due to one of 2 things:
1. You're not connected to the Internet. (WHICH I AM)
2 this version of aTV Flash (black) is out of date (I HAVE VERSION 1.0).
Please download the latest version from firepower.com
sorry for inconvenience”

Unfortunately I can not go to the website to download the latest version
since I purchased it through MacUpdate. Please advise.
