New Goodies in Infuse 2.2.2

Over the past few weeks we've received a ton of awesome feedback from our amazing users, and today we're happy to announce much of that has turned into some great new features which are part of Infuse 2.2.2. Here's the scoop on what's new.

Import subtitles from other apps

Now in addition to syncing your own subtitles, or streaming them from another device you can import them into Infuse from emails, Dropbox, Skydrive, and pretty much any other file sharing app. It doesn't stop there. Infuse will let you select which subtitle goes with which video...so there are no special file naming requirements to worry about.

Infuse 2.2

Infuse 2 for iOS has only been out for two months, but we've been working almost non-stop since then to get even more features into your hands.

The result is Infuse 2.2, which is a HUGE update and is packed with goodies including the ability to download files, browse remote shares with artwork and movie info, all-new list view option, volume boost, streaming improvements, and much, much more!

More details on everything that's included in Infuse 2.2 can be found below.

Download from network shares

Filling your device with video goodness is now easier than ever, as in addition to just streaming files, you can download them directly from other devices to play later while you're on the go.

Infuse 1.4 Now Available

In early August Infuse got a healthy dose of AirPlay streaming, and since then we've been listening intently to all of you who have been using it to see how we could make it even better.

Today we're happy to release Infuse 1.4 that includes quite a few goodies that mainly revolve around improved AirPlay, performance, and efficiency.

Here's the whole scoop on what's new in 1.4...

Subtitles over AirPlay

We've taken our AirPlay integration a step further by adding the ability to send subtitles along with video when using AirPlay. Now, with just a few taps you can add subtitles from OpenSubtitles to videos and stream them to your TV. You can even pick and choose from the available subtitles right on the Apple TV! It just works.

Infuse Gets a Big Dose of AirPlay

We all go through life with good days, and bad days...then there are days that are just frickin' amazing! Today is one of those days because we just gave Infuse for iOS a huge, free 1.3 update.

What's new you ask? Well, let me tell you...

AirPlay

Infuse has always been great at playing videos on an iPhone or iPad, and now it's great at playing videos on the big screen as well. Yup! Infuse now features a truly awesome AirPlay option that streams a ton of different video types including MKV, MP4, M4V, AVI, and a few others. The more eclectic formats are supported as well by way of AirPlay Mirroring.

In a nutshell, just hit the AirPlay button and Infuse will take care of the rest.
