Beta6 includes huge improvements in playback performance that come by way of a brand brand-new, lightweight player that has been built from the ground up specifically for iOS. This new player empowers your AppleTV to play a wide variety of media formats without having to sacrifice the simplicity of the native AppleTV interface.

Beta5 features improvements to virtually every aspect of aTV Flash (black) but our main focus has been on building and improving the Media Player feature. Today we are pleased to announce the release of aTV Flash (black) Beta4. In terms of features, this is the most substantial release since Beta1 first became available in early December 2010.

The marquee addition found in Beta4 is an 'alpha preview' version of our brand new Media Player that has been under development for the past few months. This player enables the playback of non-iTunes media (streamed from a network source) on the AppleTV with no special software or transcoding required!

Happy Friday! Today we have a lot of exciting news to share. First off, Beta2 of aTV Flash (black) is now available. Beta2 includes full support for the 4.1 AppleTV software, a handful of new features and many all-around improvements. Additionally, we have an early preview of a new feature you're sure to love.

At long last we're proud to announce the release of the first beta version of aTV Flash (black) for the new AppleTV. This version features a number of exciting features, with many more to come. It took a bit longer to complete than anticipated, but it's a great start to what we hope will be a powerful software suite for the new black AppleTV.
