Infuse 5.4 - Supercharged Subtitles

Today we're happy to release Infuse 5.4!

This update includes a mountain of changes for subtitles, some nice performance improvements for 10-bit videos, and many other really great things. The full story on what's new is below.

All-new subtitles engine

Subtitles have been entirely revamped, and we've made a ton of improvements in many areas. The result is an awesome new implementation that supports many more formats - including subtitles with fancy styling and animation effects (*pause for karaoke fans to rejoice*). Other changes include new color options, and support for subtitles in 3D videos (SBS & TAB).

Infuse 5.3 is here, and it's our biggest update of the year! Ok, maybe that's not saying much since 2017 still has a ways to go - but this update includes our awesome new playback core, parental controls, support for more formats, and a bunch of other great improvements which make it pretty amazing.

Happy 2017! Today we're pleased to announce the first of many updates coming this year. 5.2 features some really great things, including support for more video types, iOS search, NFS streaming, better playback, and much, much more.

DVD file support has been one of the top feature requests since we launched Infuse for Apple TV in late 2015. Now you can dust off that pile of old DVD backups and let Infuse work its magic to turn them into the makings of a great movie night. Just browse, play, and enjoy.

The latest version of Infuse for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV is here, and it brings with it some pretty awesome things we think you're going to love. Here's a quick rundown of what's new...

Movie collections

Infuse now automagically tidies up your Library by grouping sequels into collections. Can't remember the name of the second Fast and Furious movie, or the third Bond film with Sean Connery? Wonder no more - just search or browse for a collection and all titles will be grouped together and ordered by their release date. Boom! Collections are available in all existing Library categories, or through the new dedicated Collections section - which may come in handy if you're looking for a full series to binge on.

Infuse 5 is here! It's been many months in the making, and is the most ambitious update we've ever had. It has tons of new features, some really great playback improvements, and a whole host of thoughtful little changes to make your life better.

New home screen with 'Up Next' list

New for Apple TV is an awesome way to find something great to watch. The new Up Next list is made up of two sections - the first will show the items you're currently watching (in progress) and the second will show items that have been recently added.

All-new list view

We've added a slick new list view option that provides quick access to video artwork and details. It has all the same great details as the standard poster view, and should allow you to feel right at home when you start using it. List View can be enabled in Infuse > Settings.

We've had our nose to the grindstone over the past few weeks, and today we're pleased to finally share the fruits of our labor with you. Infuse 4.2 is a major update, and introduces a bunch of great features we know you're going to love! Read on for full details on what's new.

Library View (aka the new hotness)

Introducing our brand spankin’ new Library View which makes finding videos to watch quick and easy. Infuse will search deep within your folders to catalog every movie, TV show, and cat video it can find and group them all together in a slick new menu. Plus, with a set of all-new Smart Filters, you can browse by genre, rating, release date, age rating, and even get an overview of all unwatched or recently added items with just a few taps.

The first major update for Infuse 4 has arrived! We didn't cut any corners here, and worked hard to add ton of great new things that we think you are going to love, including watched icons, dark mode, HD audio, background fetching, and much, much more. Read on for full details on what's new.

Pick up where you left off

With our all-new watched indicators finding something new to watch has never been easier. Both new and in-progress videos will have a colorful orange banner overlayed on top of the poster, with a small icon to indicate the status. Watched status icons are also visible on the video details page.

Infuse 4 for iOS has arrived!

At first glance, Infuse 4 may look like something you've seen before, but that is where the similarities end. We've gone deep under the hood to make significant changes in just about every area. The end result is an all-new playback core, built on modern frameworks, that take full advantage of Apple's latest hardware. Naturally, we've also added a few other goodies as well...read on for more details.

Infuse 4 for Apple TV - Now Available

When Apple first announced the new Apple TV in September we couldn't help but do a little happy dance. A powerful new device with an official App Store - what more could we ask for? There was just one thing missing - a great way to enjoy videos without having to jump through any silly hoops like converting or transcoding.

Well, the wait is over, and the all-new version of Infuse for the new Apple TV has arrived. We've taken many of the same great features we perfected in Infuse for iOS and reimagined them for the big screen. The end result is a beautiful, powerful, and simple way to enjoy a wide array of videos on the Apple TV.

And now, without further ado, we give you Infuse 4 for Apple TV.
